Dogs and humans often feel stressed or threatened by different things. It’s important for people to understand dog body language in order to understand when a dog is feeling stressed by a situation, and to be sure not to push the dog over his threshold of stress tolerance. Usually, there are signs of escalating stress. If you recognize the signs, you can often de-escalate the stress and avoid the probability of a bite.
